Paris, France— May 31st, 2022— triPica today announced that it was selected as a nominee for TM Forum’s 15th Excellence Awards 2022.

triPica is recognized in the Sustainability category for its project Source – the first French digital telco brand that encourages digital sobriety solution by Bouygues Telecom empowered by triPica in collaboration with Thales.

Finalists will be announced in July and winners during the first day of Digital Transformation World’s(DTW) global event in September 2022.

TM Forum’s Excellence Awards recognize the world’s leading companies for their innovative achievements spanning digital transformation, business and IT agility, customer centricity, cross-industry partnering and collaboration, and product and service innovation. The awards also recognize the organizations making a significant contribution to the acceleration of digital transformation throughout the industry.

triPica, providing end-to-end customer journey partnered with Thales to enable automatic identity recognition. As a result, Bouygues Telecom was able to launch “Source”, the first digital telco brand that encourages digital sobriety in France. It is an innovative proposition targeting customers who wish to use a socially responsible solution that integrates well within their increasingly digital lifestyle.

Through “Source”, Bouygues proposes its customers a full transparency of their data consumption, including the mix between cellular vs Wi-Fi. Clients can convert each non- consumed Gigabit of data into “waterdrops” contributions towards NGOs that drive social and environmentally friendly initiatives. This self-service fully digital brand educates around the optimal data consumption to help minimise the daily carbon footprint.
